Who are Sunbutter Oceans?
The Sunbutter journey started with Marine Biologists, Ecologists and Conservationists Sacha Guggenheimer and Tom Hiney, handmaking small batches of their own formula in their home kitchen.
After working as Wildlife guides and SCUBA instructors in some of the most pristine reefs in the World, Sacha and Tom were looking for a chemical free sunscreen that not only protected their skin but also the reefs they were exploring.
SunButter plastic free sunscreen was originally made for themselves, and friends, friends of friends and then strangers began asking how they too could get their hands on the amazing Sunbutter sunscreen.
In July, 2019 Sunbutter launched their TGA approved, SPF 50 formula packaged plastic free in a metal container. Sunbutter Sunscreen is made in a solar powered factory in Australia.
