What’s in the Box?
While making beeswax wraps is a fairly simple process, some essential items are required.
Of course beeswax is one of those items, but that’s not all that’s needed to coat your wraps. You’ll also need to add the perfect amount of jojoba oil and tree resin to ensure your wraps will adhere to whatever you’re wrapping them around.
That’s why we’ve included our pre-formulated beeswax mix block. There’s no need for you to go out and buy all the ingredients, then figure out the correct amounts you’ll need — instead all you’ll need to do is melt down (or grate) the pre-mix wrap block supplied in our Ultimate Beeswax Wrap DIY Kit.
We’ve included two pre-cut cotton wraps so you don’t need to figure out what size wraps you need or buy a bunch of material, cut it up only to discover you’ve purchased the wrong fabric!
We’ve also included a dedicated paint brush if you choose to apply the wax that way, a stir stick to use when melting down your wax and two sheets of parchment paper used when melting the wax.
Oh … we also included a couple of stainless steel pegs so you can hang your cloths up to dry!
And don’t worry we haven’t forgotten that you’ve not done this before, so we’ve also included a DIY Instruction kit that will guide you through different ways to make your wraps.
We’ve made the process as easy as possible — but there are a few things you’ll need.
- A stainless steel (not aluminum) container that you can melt your wax in (if using the paint method).
- A dedicated cheese grater to grate the wax (if using the oven or iron method),
