Is it normal to get lumps in the paste?
When the weather heats up, the paste can sometimes become a little lumpy, that’s the natural reaction of shea butter that’s used in natural formula. Shea butter is high in fatty acids, making it bind together when the temperature rises, and cools back down slowly.
If you find your Woohoo deodorant starting to form lumps, don’t worry there’s nothing wrong with the formula, the lumps will easily dissolve when rubbed between your fingers.
How do I use a natural, plastic free deodorant paste?
To apply the deodorant paste scoop some paste out of the metal jar with your finger and apply directly under your armpits. You don’t need much paste, it will go a long way.
Does the thought of touching your armpits make you a little uneasy? That’s understandable, after becoming so accustomed to the convenience of plastic products, simply picking up that plastic roll on and applying, we forget that by doing so we are not doing any favours to our environment. If you’re ready to go plastic free but not ready to apply the paste directly with your fingertips, you can use a wooden applicator to spread the paste under your arms.
Whatever your method is, you’ll be not only happy you’ve chosen the plastic free path, but you can also be assured that you are applying an all natural, chemical free product to your body. A product that works!
Does Woohoo plastic free deodorant contain bicarb soda?
Yes Woohoo does use bicarb in it’s deodorant paste formula, however it’s been speciality formulated so as not to aggravate even the most sensitive skin. This is because they have taken extra care to balance the pH so the formula is not too alkaline but is still extremely effective!
