What materials are used for packaging?

We ship in cardboard boxes. We use a combination of brown mesh paper packaging and white tissue paper, tied with hemp rope to keep parcels secure during delivery. 

Some parcels may be sealed in Home Compostable Hero satchels. 

Our branded stickers and business cards are printed on recycled paper with vegetable based inks that are safe to compost.

Shipping notes are printed on recycled paper.

What are your delivery costs?

Products marked "Free Delivery" are delivered at no additional cost. Purchases made with a combination of free and paid delivery rates will incur the highest delivery cost depending on product total weight.

Our Australia-wide small parcel (<500g) delivery cost is $7. Large parcels (>500g) are $12 for per order. All orders over $75 receive free shipping.

All orders are delivered "Authority to Leave" unless otherwise noted in the comments section at checkout. Any special delivery instructions can also be added in this area.

What is your delivery time?

Orders placed will be sent for delivery the following day.

Depending on your location you should expect your order to arrive within 3-5 business days. Our orders are sent with tracking numbers so you can track expected arrival times for your order.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept payment Stripe (credit card) and PayPal (account or credit card payments) and AfterPay.

Do you deliver to PO Box addresses?

Yes we deliver to PO Boxes. Please note delivery instructions on your order for PO Box delivery.

Do you ship internationally?

Our online ordering system does not currently process orders for overseas shipping.

What if my parcel is lost or damaged?

Please contact EORTH at shop@eorth.com.au to notify us of late delivery, incorrect orders or damaged items.

If your order has been lost in transit an investigation with the delivery company will need to be conducted before we can send replacement items. This may take an additional week to rectify.

If you receive damaged products (due to packaging or incorrect courier handling) an investigation with the delivery company will need to be conducted before we can send replacement items. This may take an additional week to rectify.

If you have received an incorrect or missing product, the product will be sent according to our discretion following our investigations.

Do any of your products contain Palm Oil?

Our EORTH branded products are 100% Palm Oil Free.

Some products we previously stocked contained RSPO Palm Oil. We no longer stock these products making our store 100% Palm Oil Free.

Are all items in store 100% Plastic Free?

While EORTH strives to be 100% Plastic Free some stickers or tamper proof security seals from our suppliers may be present in the products we supply. These are indicated on the individual product pages under Additional Information.

Items such as bamboo toothbrushes contain nylon bristles. We believe these are a more environmentally friendly option than plastic toothbrushes.

What if I'm not happy with the product I purchased?

If you are not happy with any of the products you have purchased, or you have received damaged goods, please contact us so we can determine the best method to rectify the problem.

Product returns are shipped at the customers expense.

What are EORTH's office environmental practices?

EORTH's business cards and stickers used for branding our delivery boxes are made from recycled paper, and the inks are safe for composting.

Our shipping order notes are printed on recycled paper.

The majority of our parcels are delivered by Sendle, a 100% carbon neutral company*. When Sendle is not an option for delivery parcels are sent via Australia Post. 

We compost all food scraps and other compostable items in our office environment.

Cardboard boxes received from suppliers are posted on Free Pick Up Facebook Groups so that they can be reused before they are recycled. Paper product void fill and single sheet cardboard received from suppliers is repurposed in customer packaging for extra void fill. Products packaged with bubble wrap or biodegradable peanuts is donated for repurposing. Single use plastics that come from our suppliers are sent to RedCycle. Note: we typically discontinue purchasing from suppliers that send items packaged in single use plastic.

* We occasionally send parcels via Australia Post to areas that are not covered by Sendle delivery route.
